The Baltimore Ravens had an up and down year poised to win the division but ultimately failing. They concluded the year in the postseason by winning a wild card game against Kansas City on the road before losing to the Steelers in the divisional round. They have won at least one postseason game the last two years. Coming off the AFC Championship one year earlier, the franchise had high hopes with second year quarterback Joe Flacco behind center. John Harbaugh was also gaining knowledge being a head coach and was gaining more respect and authority. Last season the Baltimore Ravens adjusted their offense to a heavy emphasis on running the football. Offensive coordinator Cam Cameron is a sharp student of the game. Ray Rice and Laron McLain sledge hammered defenses with a nonstop pounding of the football. Flacco would use play action passing to try to drive the ball deep down the field. The offensive line played very well with 2 stud tackles on the bookends. Michael Oher got a lot of press because of his movie release "The Blind Side" but there is no hype in his productivity for the Ravens. He is a really good tackle and is on the verge of being all pro. No matter what type of game experience you are looking for we have a wide selection of tickets for the Baltimore Ravens for sale for you to choose from at great prices! One of the most famous players is Raven all pro Ray Lewis who has played in the league for over twelve years. He is the heart and soul of the defense and the most identifiable player in franchise history. His skill level has eroded as he has gotten up in age but he is still passionate as ever. Along with Terrell Suggs the defense is very tough to run against. The division crown will be a tight race between Baltimore and Pittsburgh. The Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns will not be factors. So once again this franchise can make a run at not only the division but the conference. The toughness and discipline he plays the game is an example to teammates. Now that the offense is more balanced look for the unit to open up the playbook and score more points. Look for a more explosive passing attach with Anquan Boldin now with the club. With the addition of Lee Evans the offense finally has a vertical threat. The Super Bowl the franchise won is a distant past as only a few members of that club are on the team today. One of the more important pieces on the club that the Ravens hope will be healthy for the 2011 season is safety Ed Reed. He thought about retiring last year after because of his neck problems and will miss the first six games of this year. General Manager Ozzie Newsome and his staff have always had a great eye for college talent and if Reed leaves the club look for another stud player to take his place and produce.
